These programmes are aimed at all couples wanting to conceive. The proactive programme aims to optimise your health prior to trying for a baby which can lead to easier conception and pregnancy. If you have been trying to conceive or been impacted by miscarriage, the improvement and overhaul programme looks to establish possible causes and aims to improve markers and therefore the chances of successful pregnancy. We recommend scheduling an initial consultation to investigate and plan your next steps.

There is no age limit for fertility treatment at Fertility Refresh. However, we do recommend that patients over the age of 35 undergo a thorough medical evaluation to determine their fertility status before beginning treatment.

 Lifestyle and nutrition play crucial roles in fertility as they directly impact reproductive health. A balanced diet rich in essential nutrients, such as folic acid, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids, supports hormonal balance and healthy ovulation in women and enhances sperm quality in men. Regular physical activity promotes optimal body weight, reducing the risk of conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and improving insulin sensitivity, both of which are vital for fertility. Additionally, lifestyle factors like managing stress, avoiding smoking, limiting alcohol intake, and getting adequate sleep contribute to overall reproductive health. Thus, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and proper nutrition can significantly increase the chances of conception and support a healthy pregnancy. 

Semen analysis will tell you:

Volume – Semen volume should be 1.5ml or more

Motility and Morphology – Progressive motility should be 32%, normal morphology 4%

Concentration – Sperm concentration should be 15 million per ml or more

Total sperm – 39 million per ml or more (per ejaculate)

Vitality – Live sperm of 58% or more

Sperm DNA analysis is the only test that will provide an inside picture of your fertility status.

Quality

• If your sperm have are healthy enough to reach their target – the female egg
• The likelihood of the sperm being able to fertilise the egg
• Whether fertilisation is likely to achieve a full-term pregnancy

Initial consultations are £150, payable at the appointment. During this consultation a personalised programme will be devised with all costings being provided to the clients. A payment plan for the 12 week programmes are available to spread the burden and make this more affordable for you.
